Went to KL Bird Park on CNY this year  really a great place to visit sometimes. snap a couple of pic and animal portraiture and submit to PhotoSchool 
With just my cute 18-55mm kit lens, i just wish i had a 200mm Tele lens  so many things to shoot over there

Batu Caves - Thaipusam 2008

So i was lurking thru CandidSyndrome and i saw this 1 post about thaipusam. So last tuesday (22nd Jan 2008) i went to snap some photo's of this event.
What is Thaipusam?

1# Devotees praying before walking up the stairs into the cave
2# Young devotees make his way up the stairs around 6pm
3# Inside the cave 8.30pm
4# The devotees dancing with a kavadi before walk up the stairs
Its a great and colorful event where thousands of tourist come just to see this unique event. Hopefully i can make it next year (Insya Allah) to snap more pic and hopefully better picture and better story

yeay~ fireworks : 30th august 2007 - Team Japan 
i parked my stuff at Zone E, near the blue bridge.. a lot of photog there. i went there with my fren (thx shook )
so here's my shot... i didnt use the black board to cover my lens(only try it after the fireworks finish ), some smoke caught in the frame
The settings:
ISO 100
SS - 20sec-25sec
F16-18
WB - i tried both auto and tungsten
tripod
